Jamie started his journey with us at The Rupert Brooke in 2014 as a Food & Beverage Assistant until he was talent spotted for the opening of The Northgate as a Food & Beverage Supervisor!  He continually impressed managers with his eye for detail, entertaining guests with wit and charm along with passion for food and drink.  This led to being offered the Assistant Manager role for the newly acquired Blackbirds Inn which he supported the General Manager is setting up the new business.  He has since jumped to the Head Office team and assists the Finance Director - now paying all of our team members each month!


Katie made a 450 mile move to join Chestnut! Scotland to Suffolk is a long way!  Provenance of fresh food being used by Head Chef Greig caught her sights as well as working with Greig in a previous business.  She knew she would be coming to a company with solid values where everyone is looked after as part of the team.



Lewis loves The Northgate so much that he returned as a Manager!  Cocktails and more cocktails – Lewis is the man of cocktails at The Northgate along with all other bar offerings.


Moraine is our Award winning star-busting Commis chef who joined Chestnut straight from college after doing work experience in the kitchen under a fantastic Head Chef and team encouraging and teaching her.
