DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

Retaining our existing managers and developing our future management teams remains a priority for us, as we look at ways to grow and sustain our business, whilst continuing to provide exceptional guest experience.

We want to offer the opportunity to all our team members to develop, regardless of educational history or any other barriers that can be encountered through alternative development paths.  To respond to industry challenges, we will ensure our development pathways deliver quality learning but allow progression to be as speedy as possible.

We have therefore chosen two routes where our team members can pursue a career with us, either through our internal development programmes, Supervisor to Assistant Manager and Chef Development Programme, or through an apprenticeship.

DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

Both programmes will be built on our commitment to support our high performing supervisors / chefs to the next stage of their career through a structured agenda that is detailed below.

  • In-property learning application – enabling our team to apply their learning from workshops, external courses and qualifications to the workplace and assessing / reflecting on performance / outcomes

  • Business growth projects - with a final presentation to Senior Management
