Name Announcement Coincides with Launch of Recruitment Drive
The name for a much-anticipated new boutique house offering refined yet relaxed dining and stylish accommodation in the heart of Bury St Edmunds has been unveiled as The Northgate. The announcement coincides with the launch of a recruitment drive to build a team of 26 new staff at The Northgate to provide diners and guests with a high quality, home-from-home experience.
The Northgate (formally Ounce House), is currently undergoing extensive renovation to provide guests with the perfect hospitality experience. On schedule to open later this summer, the house aims to set a new benchmark in the area for outstanding food, drink and service, and will include a bar, dining area, private dining, meeting room facilities and nine bedroom accommodation. A ‘Chef’s Table’ will give diners the opportunity to both observe and hear from the kitchen team creating their dishes.

The Northgate is currently recruiting for 26 jobs across all areas of the business, including Restaurant and Bar Managers, Food & Beverage Attendants, House Keeping and Reception.
