If you’ve never visited The Rupert Brooke in Grantchester before, then now’s the time. With a new menu launched this month featuring classic and new dishes with a twist, there’s something for everyone. We popped down to try out the menu for ourselves.
The Rupert Brooke was buzzing on a Friday evening when we arrived, with a party upstairs and a private event in an area downstairs, there was a great atmosphere. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and one of those places you can really relax and spend the whole evening.
To start we tucked into a Green Pea Soup with Wasabi Pea Crumb and Pancetta crisps (£6). A delightfully light pea soup with extra crunch from the topping – absolutely perfect.
