The Suffolk coast and heathland is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty due to the landscape, wildlife, the shingle beaches and historic towns and villages. The Ship is a stone's throw from dog-friendly Dunwich beach and a short walk from the RSPB Minsmere. The Westleton Crown is nestled in a charming coastal village just a mile from Dunwich with heath and woodland on the doorstep.
