Cancellation policy

 

We understand that things don’t go always to plan, particularly in the current climate, but as Christmas is such a busy time of year for us, we would appreciate that if you need to make an amendment to your booking that you let us know as soon as possible. We have relaxed our terms and conditions this year and will always try to accommodate a change in plan as much as we can.

In order to protect our business we still need to have a clear cancellation policy in place, so please read the below terms and conditions carefully before you book.

 

2020 Terms and Conditions – Bookings from 27th Nov-23rd Dec

To confirm your table with us this festive period, we will ask for credit card details to secure the booking. Rest assured your card details will be held securely and no charge will be made to secure your reservation.

 

Cancellations;

Should you need to cancel your reservation, we require at least 72 hrs notice. If you do not notify us of a cancellation within 72 hours of your booking, there will be an automatic charge of £10 per person to the card details provided.

 

Amendment to numbers;

Should the numbers in your party decrease, at least 48 hours’ notice is required. Failure to inform us of a decrease in numbers will result in all booked meals being charged for on the day.

 

Pub closure;

If for any reason we are forced to close any of our properties on the date of your booking, the cancellation policy will be null and void and no payments will be taken

To confirm your Christmas lunch/dinner with us this year, we will ask for credit card details to secure the booking. Rest assured your card details will be held securely and no charge will be made to secure your reservation.

 

Cancellations;

Should you need to cancel your reservation, we require at least 21 days notice. If you do not notify us of a cancellation within 21 days of your booking, there will be an automatic charge of 50% of the full amount to the card details provided. For any cancellations 7 days before the booking date, full payment will be taken.

 

Amendment to numbers;

Should the numbers in your party decrease, at least 21 days are required. Failure to inform us of a decrease in numbers will result in all booked meals being charged for on the day.

 

Pub closure;

If for any reason we are forced to close any of our properties on the date of your booking, the cancellation policy will be null and void and no payments will be taken

Room Cancellation Policy

 

Room bookings can be cancelled or transferred up to 48hrs prior to arrival with no charge, however rates may differ between dates if your booking is transferred.

If you need to cancel or amend your booking within 48hrs of arrival due to you or a member of your household testing positive for COVID-19, we can cancel your booking or transfer your booking to another suitable date with no charge, however rates may differ between dates.

Any cancellations or amendments within 48hrs of arrival that are not as a direct result of COVID-19, will result in our retaining the charge for the first night of your stay.

If we are forced to close a our rooms due to regional or national COVID-19 restrictions, bookings will be transferred to a later date or cancelled at no charge.

 

Christmas Room Bookings Deposits & Cancellation Policy

 

All Christmas room booking require a deposit of 50% of the overall cost. Full Payment must be received by the 15th of December.

Room bookings can be cancelled or transferred up to the 15th of December with no charge, however rates may differ between dates if your booking is transferred.

If you need to cancel or amend your booking within before the 15th of December due to you or a member of your household testing positive for COVID-19, we can cancel your booking or transfer your booking to another suitable date with no charge, however rates may differ between dates.

Any cancellations or amendments after the 15th of December that are not as a direct result of you or a member of your household testing positive for COVID-19, will result in our retaining the charge for your stay. For cancellations or amendments made to your booking after the 15th of December that are a direct result of you or a member of your household testing positive for COVID-19 we ask that you send us a copy of the positive test result and a full refund will be paid to you within 14 days.

If we are forced to close our rooms due to regional or national COVID-19 restrictions, bookings will be transferred to a later date or cancelled at no charge.
