The Globe at Wells

The Globe Inn sits on a Georgian square in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea, just a short walk from the quay. The menu focuses on good pub food, inspired by its location and shaped by what’s local and fresh - often straight off the boat. With 32 guest bedrooms, including 10 at Arch House just five minutes away, The Globe is a relaxed place to eat, drink and stay in one of North Norfolk’s favourite seaside spots.

Dating back to 1668, The Gin Trap Inn has been welcoming farmers, fishermen, merchants, and smugglers for centuries. Set in the heart of Ringstead, a pretty North Norfolk village just a few miles from the coast, it’s a pub full of warmth and character, proud of its long history. The menu is rooted in the region, celebrating Norfolk’s land and sea while adding a touch of creativity to every plate. With 12 guest bedrooms including three cottages, The Gin Trap offers a relaxed and memorable stay, a taste of coastal village life.

This 16th-century pub has had a chequered past, if you’ll excuse the pun. Once a coach house and an inn, next a country pub, then a hotel. Now, The Chequers is a proper pub once again. Offering honest, tasty, and satisfying food, always accompanied by a good pour. The Chequers have 11 guest bedrooms - for a laid-back and comfortable stay. We keep things here  simple, homely, and fuss-free.

The Feathers in Holt

A 16th-century inn, The Feathers is an ideal base for exploring the North Norfolk coastline and nearby heathland. Stepping through the front door onto the flagstone floor, its long history and tradition of warm hospitality are immediately evident. Locals, visitors, and tourists happily eat, drink, and spend time alongside one another. The bar, lounge, restaurant, and dining spaces are complemented by 29 guest bedrooms, 15 of which are located at The Lawns with views Greshams playing field, just two minutes from the pub.

An old coaching inn dating back to the 15th century, The White Horse was Blakeney’s first hotel and remains at the heart of this much-loved coastal village today. Just moments from the quay, it offers easy access to the sweeping salt marshes and big skies that make North Norfolk so special. A favourite with locals and visitors, it is a relaxed pub with 9 guest bedrooms, making it a great base to explore Blakeney’s rugged charm, coastal paths, and abundant birdlife - before returning for good food and a well-earned pint.

Once a smuggler’s hideout, The Lifeboat Inn has been a haven for travellers and locals for more than 500 years. Located in the coastal village of Thornham, it is moments from the salt marshes and sea - a place shaped by tides, stories and community. Today, it is still a much-loved gathering place to eat, drink and stay. The menu makes the most of location – from the coast and countryside, served with warmth and a sense of place. With 16 guest bedrooms, The Lifeboat is somewhere to settle in, slow down and enjoy a different pace.

The Wiveton Bell is situated a mile from Blakeney, close to unspoilt salt marshes and atmospheric fishing villages and quays. Refurbished in 2025 with thought and care, the pub reflects its deep roots in the local community, offering a dedicated bar area alongside a dining space worthy of its long tradition of serving great, locally sourced food. The pub is also home to six guest bedrooms and boasts one of the best spots from which to enjoy a Norfolk sunset.
